Meet Baby Cache....Its about time.

So its about time I posted maybe?? No? You disagree? MY BABY IS 5 MO OLD its a bit ridiculous really, that I've been that far behind. My blog has never met CACHE. Lets just put it this way there is a huge difference between 1 and 2 kids. When we found out we were pregnant with our second I called my husband to tell him I took a test (mostly just to convince myself I wasn't pregnant. Its just a little scary when you have a baby thats only 7 mo old ) anyway when I called paul to tell him I was pregnant(He was at work.) He didn't say much I thought that he would say really? Are you scared? Anything really and all he said was......"whats one more?" Well let me tell you this. Its One more. One more baby to love. One more little one who suckers in your entire heart. Its one more little face that smiles at you and wraps you around their little finger. One more mouth to feed, one more butt to change, one more little body to bath, and one (or maybe 20) more binkeys to find. :) And get this.....I love it. I really did worry that it would be hard to love another baby just as much as the first but it isn't. I never knew I could love so much.
Anyway what i've been trying to say is that I've been a little busy enjoying/loving life.
Still its about time that you met Cache. maybe we should start with one of his newborns and a little back story All Photos are courtesy of DevanRaePhotography.com

Cache was born on July 18th at 6PM  he was 7 lbs 15 oz. He spent a week in the NICU due to a couple of collapsed lungs shortly after birth. When we left the NICU he was as good as new!! We were in the process of building a new home at the time so me and the boys Alex Cache Bruce and I stayed at my parents for a couple weeks while Paul worked tirelessly and drove to and from SLC almost everyday so that we could be together and get into our new home soon. Long story short we are in and CaChe is now 5 mo old. Its crazy how time flies.

We blessed him a couple of months ago paul did a wonderful job. It was a beautiful blessing and a wonderful day filled with family!  My little Cache looked handsome as ever! I could eat him alive grrr he's so cute!

Just a little pic of Al during the shoot as well. He's also to stinkin cute.

My wonderful Photographer did a photo shoot of the boys for me today she had seen some stuff we wanted to try them out. I think they turned out fabulously feast your eyes! Also check out her blog on my blog list. She is so talented.

How can you not just laugh looking at this picture!  Every time I look at it I just bust a gut.

Thats all for now thanks for stopping by to meet Cache!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEX

ALEX IS ONE!!

Alex and his little go to trouble maker pal Halle they are the best of buds and so we thought it fitting to do a combined birthday bash and some pics together too. My sis in law Devan is amazing and did a great little shoot with them. You can check out the rest of her work here...devenraephotography.com

I can't hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday we brought him home.

We had a good day, of course he had no idea the day was any diff he just loved it though balloons, banners, dinner out,and of course a new truck. LIFE IS GOOD FOR A ONE YR OLD.
I left my camera at home for the dinner festivities which was a bummer (don't act like your actually surprised Janelle)but I did catch a few confused photos of him the morning of with some balloons, he is just mesmerized by the banner on the wall and tried everything in his power to get to it.

I'm not really sure how I didn't take a pic of that either especially where it hung on my wall for a good 3 days but I didn't... sorry. It was really cute Greg and Megan and Halle made it for him it was adorable.
I did manage to shoot this little video of Alex dancing and clapping to a card uncle Johan and aunt Janelle sent him. He loved it its short lived but I had the idea a little late so I caught what I could.
video

Life doesn't seem to much different for a one year old except now I get to let him try a few new things like whole milk....and strawberry's, yeah he is a big kid now.

Also HE GOT A REAL haircut. My sister usually cuts his hair while he's in the tub or while I fed him a bottle (when he was really young that worked) but she lives 2 hrs away so I gave him his last fabulous hair cut and lets just say its time to do it the real way. So today I took him to the salon where my good friend Brittanie took care of us. He loved it and I LOVE HIS NEW STYLE! I never thought Id like short hair on him I was a little nervous but he looks so cute.

TADAH!! "I look good with short hair and I know it" or as its been said before "a boys hair cut"

We are having a birthday bash for his 1 yr old celebration so there will be more photos to come!

whats been going on

We have been quite busy with all the holidays but..... lets be honest Im a bit of a slacker when it comes to blogging thats whats really going on here. we have been keeping pretty busy and having a great time! Just a couple pics of what we have been up to!

There was Christmas of course. We had visions of Alex totally knowing what was going on but this toy and a bunch of wrapping paper totally sufficed for the day! We also went snow shoeing and Alex absolutely loved it, of course i forgot the camera and aim having quite the time getting any pics from my bro.

I introduced Meg and Dev to the world of racket ball and the babies love to go play outside the glass and then on the court when we are all done. I cant believe the intrigue Alex has already for balls. You can totally see his hesitation to share with Halle....Which wont hold her off for long.

Alex has recently decided that standing up in the tub is much more fun than sitting i like this pic because aunt meg decided to butt crack part his hair and i stuck up a piece in the back that you cant see very well but hes my little alfalfa.....yes our kids bath together and I must say....its quite entertaining!

and last but not least proof of at least one snow shoeing adventure. Have I ever mentioned THAT I LOVE WHERE I LIVE!

Another beautiful fall day

Yesterday was such a beautiful day Meg and I decided we should take the babes on a hike. We both actually forgot our cameras (just like last time) but Hals looked so cute asleep on Megs back that I rushed home at the end of the hike to grab Megs phone to get a quick pic before she woke
up. I made it just in the nik of time not 1 min after I snapped this she woke up.... bright eyed and bushy tailed. (I have no proof I just thought you would want to know....?) since we had the camera handy we snapped a few.

she just looks SO content.

Bruce absolutely loves getting to go on all of our adventures and the babies love to watch him. I suppose its win win. Especially because I sure do feel safe with him. He's such a good dog.

At the end of the hike. they were ready to get out but patiently waited for us to snap a couple.

And this is the little gem meg sent me from the last hike we went on before the snow came.....AND WENT!!! (if you know me you know I couldn't be MORE thrilled about the went part.) I love sleeping babies. He might not look very comfy but I assure you he is. comfy enough to sleep!

Apparently I really like that red tank top.

I'm a summer person through and through but I must say there is nothing like a fall hike.

SIX MONTHS

I'm a little late on getting these up.... he's 7 mo now but they are so stinking cute I had to post them.
You've heard me say it before and I'll say it again my sister in law is so talented she perfectly captured Alex in each one of these. This is him! He's such a happy camper we're so blessed to have such a wonderful spirit in our home. We love him so much!

And as usual THANK YOU DEVAN!!! we love you. (check out her photography blog linked on the side...PS shes for hire! :)

also a little side note about his hair..... I LOVE IT. It does what it wants and most days I wonder....what is your hair doing? It's him though and hes had 3 hair cuts now a good inch every time at least. Like I said... it does what it wants and we love it that way.
